Specific coverage and eligibility are determined by the manufacturer’s current terms and the roofing system installed:

• Our Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor status allows us to offer qualifying systems with up to 50 years of shingle coverage and 25 years of workmanship coverage.
• As a GAF Master Elite® Contractor, we can provide eligible homeowners with GAF’s Golden Pledge® coverage, including a 50-year non-prorated period for manufacturing defects and 25 or 30 years of workmanship coverage, depending on the shingles installed.
• Our CertainTeed ShingleMaster™ PREMIER credential provides access to SureStart™ PLUS 4-STAR and 5-STAR protection, which may extend full coverage on qualifying roofing systems for up to 50 years.

Seci Construction repairs and installs shingles roofing systems, including products from GAF, Owens Corning, and CertainTeed, with colors and profiles that can complement Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, Queen Anne, and other Glen Ridge home styles.

We also install metal roofing and slate roofing. It’s important to note that any visible changes to roofs on historic homes within Glen Ridge’s Historic District may require Historic Preservation Commission review to ensure property owners preserve original materials when possible.

GAF Timberline® HDZ™ and Owens Corning TruDefinition® Duration® architectural roof shingles provide dimensional style, weather performance, and a broad range of colors for homes where shingles roofing is appropriate. GAF Slateline® and Camelot® II designer roof shingles create deeper profiles and a slate-inspired appearance that can complement a prominent or historically influenced roofline common to Glen Ridge homes.

For historic properties, the selected product must also be appropriate for the home and any applicable preservation requirements.

A standard asphalt shingle roof replacement may be completed in one to two days. Steep pitches, dormers, chimneys, multiple roof sections, slate or tile materials, deteriorated decking, and detailed flashing work can extend the project. Required historic preservation reviews should also be completed before any installation begins.
