Masonry Services Backed by 50+ Years of Experience

residential masonry services

Seci Construction, Inc. provides residential masonry services for chimneys, stone exterior accents, full and partial stone walls, walkways, steps, patios, retaining walls, driveways, pool areas, outdoor kitchens, and other hardscapes. We install Cambridge with ArmorTec® products, using Belgian block for borders, edging, and architectural detail.

Since 1973, our team has worked on home exteriors throughout New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Masonry can be completed as a standalone improvement or coordinated with full roof replacement, siding replacement, window replacement, and other exterior work when several parts of the property are being updated at the same time.

Types of Masonry Services from Seci Construction, Inc.

masonry contractor

Chimney Masonry

Seci Construction, Inc. provides chimney masonry work for deteriorated exterior surfaces and can incorporate stone into a chimney as part of a larger roofing or exterior renovation. Coordinating chimney and roofing work also allows the transitions around flashing and surrounding roof materials to be addressed together.

masonry contractor

Stone Siding and Exterior Accents

Stone can cover an entire wall or be used selectively to add texture and contrast to a home's exterior. We install stone on lower wall sections, full-height accent walls, entry areas, chimneys, columns, porch features, and other architectural details. Stone can also be planned alongside new siding so colors, profiles, trim, and transitions work together.

masonry contractor

Walkways, Paths, and Masonry Steps

Cambridge pavingstones create walkways and paths that feel intentional rather than purely functional. Choose from different colors, sizes, patterns, and layouts that complement your home, define outdoor areas, and create smoother transitions between a driveway, entrance, patio, or pool area.

masonry contractor

Patios and Outdoor Living Areas

A Cambridge paver patio can provide a dedicated surface for dining, seating, grilling, and entertaining. Patio layouts can also be planned around future or existing hardscape featuresk, including walls, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, and steps.

masonry contractor

Retaining, Seating, and Landscape Walls

Masonry walls manage changes in grade while also defining different parts of a yard. Depending on the design, we use Cambridge wall products for retaining walls, seating walls, garden walls, raised planting areas, pillars, and borders.

masonry contractor

Driveways

Cambridge Pavingstones with ArmorTec® can be installed for residential driveways where a homeowner wants a paved surface with more pattern and design flexibility than conventional asphalt or poured concrete.

masonry contractor

Pool Decks and Pool Surrounds

Cambridge pavingstones and coordinating coping products can be used to build finished surfaces around swimming pools. Pool-area masonry connects the water's edge with patios, walkways, steps, walls, and surrounding landscaping.

masonry contractor

Outdoor Kitchens and Built-In Masonry Features

Outdoor kitchens can be incorporated directly into a larger patio or hardscape layout. Cambridge outdoor-living products support designs that include grilling and food-preparation areas, bars, counters, seating, and other built-in components.

masonry contractor

Fire Pits, Fireplaces, and Hearths

Fire features serve as a focal point within a patio or larger outdoor gathering area. Seci Construction, Inc. incorporates masonry fire pits, outdoor fireplaces, and hearth areas into the surrounding hardscape designs for a cohesive outdoor living experience.

What Are Belgian Blocks for Masonry Projects?

masonry installation company

Belgian blocks are traditional stone blocks used to create defined borders, edges, curbs, and architectural accents around paved and landscaped areas. Their heavier, more substantial appearance gives them a different look from a standard concrete edging restraint.

Seci Construction Inc. uses Belgian block for:

  • Driveway borders
  • Walkway edges
  • Garden and planting beds
  • Patio perimeters
  • Transitions between pavement and landscaping
  • Steps or other masonry details

They can provide a subtle border or become a more noticeable design feature depending on how they are laid and how much of the block remains visible.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended – Amazing Work!I highly recommend SECI construction company! The staff Bekim were incredibly friendly, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish.
Good job by andrew all went well.
This company is incredible and they care about their customers. Excellent work, job well done, I would recommend this company 100%
Achilles was very professional and informative and walked me through every step
The crew did solid work and the roof looks great. One detail of the project I specifically communicated to the project manager didn’t end up in the contract and wasn’t installed, which was frustrating at first. But in the end the owner stepped in and made it right without any hassle. I’d recommend them.
SECI did a great job on our roof repair for less than half of what the original installer quoted. They found and repaired structural damage to the roof protrusion that others missed (it shook when pushed on). The work was meticulous. Steve also did a complementary roof inspection and found damage to our chimney (which we have confirmed with other companies).
Response from the owner: Thank you for your kind review. We are pleased to hear that your project went well. Thank you and as always we appreciate your business
I don't usually write reviews, but I had such a great experience with Seci Construction that I wanted to share it. From start to finish, the entire team was professional, honest, and detail-oriented. Jimmy earned our trust from the very beginning by patiently explaining the project, helping us choose the right materials and colors, and never pressuring us. Although Seci wasn't the lowest bidder, their 50+ years of experience and Jimmy's professionalism made the decision easy. After the old siding was removed, Edi thoroughly inspected the house, while Rob clearly explained the repair options and pricing for the additional work.During the six-day installation, Manny kept the project running smoothly, and Klaudio made sure every detail we requested was completed exactly as promised. The crew arrived on time every day, cleaned up the job site before leaving, and even repaired the small drywall damage caused during the project so well that you can't tell it was ever there. I stayed home throughout the project and watched the work closely, and I was consistently impressed by the quality and craftsmanship. I highly recommend Seci Construction and want to thank Jimmy, Edi, Rob, Manny, Klaudio, and the entire team for an outstanding job.
Response from the owner: Thank you, Steven, for letting us re shape your home. We appreciate the opportunity with you to create something beautiful. Enjoy your new designed home. Thank you again from all of us at Seci Construction, Inc. We appreciate it.
Originally, we were quoted a very fair price for roofing tiles, tear off and replacement. As the project proceeded, it was discovered that our entire roof was in extremely poor condition, and needed to be completely replaced, including some of the rafters and damage to the underlying structure, including chimney rebuilding. This was all thoroughly documented, including many photos, which were shown to us, and the updated contract was explained very thoroughly to us before we approved the necessary work. The worker was performed very expertly and efficiently, with the Crew Paying precise attention to the smallest detail, and in some cases going over and above the basic requirements of the contract. The crew was extremely polite and friendly, and spent several extremely long days, completing the project and did an absolutely brilliant job, including cleanup.I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering this type of work.
Response from the owner: Thank you, Russ for the Kind review. We take pride in making every home a forever home. Thank you again for your business.
We had our roof replaced today. The supervisor, Remi, was here 45 minutes before the rest of the crew got here, which was amazing. He kept us informed throughout the entire process. He and his team were awesome. When they left, it was like they were never here, except for the new roof. Every drop was cleaned up!! Highly recommend!!
Response from the owner: Hi, and thank you for using us for your roofing project. We are Glad Remi was able to walk you through the entire process from start to finish. Thank you again.

Can Masonry Be Coordinated With Other Services?

Masonry often connects directly with other exterior materials, making it a natural addition to larger renovation projects. Planning stonework, hardscaping, roofing, siding, or windows together can help create cleaner transitions, coordinate colors and materials, and reduce the chance that one newly completed area has to be disturbed during later work.

Residential siding and masonry installation by Seci Construction

Masonry with New Siding

Stone and siding are frequently used together to add contrast, texture, and architectural detail. Coordinating both materials at the same time makes it easier to plan trim, corners, transitions, and complementary colors.

Masonry with a New Roof

If a chimney needs masonry work while roofing is being repaired or replaced, coordinating the projects at once allows the materials to be incorporated seamlessly near rooflines, porches, or other areas.

window installation and replacement

Masonry with New Windows

Planning masonry and window replacement work together allows the size of the opening, trim, sill details, stone transitions, and surrounding siding to be considered before installation begins rather than adjusted afterward.
